The video files will be quite a bit smaller, which means I/O times are reduced, the CF card will work less, etc. This may have a slight impact on record time, coupled with an increased time limit.
However none of this fixes the heat up that occurs with just normal stills shooting, which then just continues to reduce overall video time.
