It should be < $700 with kit lens. Higher cannot compete with Canon M50 kit offers. Nikon should sell this DX MILC body at cost. Every body they sell = more sales of Z-Mount optics (and more Nikon gear) as a decent %age of first-buy buyers will then stay with Nikon :-)

I'm thinking that the eventual Z30 will be the M50 competitor. That said, if Nikon brings this in at M50 pricing, they're set to have a very good Christmas
as Sony failed to do that with the A6100 and Fuji's X-T100 is badly in need of the internals of the X-A7.
