well, to me yes! I had the 16-35mm F4 (probably not a stellar copy) which I sold, seeing the 24-105 F4 performing better, though with much higher distortion at 24mm. I went for the 14-24mm F4 to have a 2 lenses combo for traveling...and I am quite happy Still your primes will not be obsolete, as you have great ones.
