Ordered the 16-35 GM from Adorama and received it today. No chance to try it out yet. It's a bit shorter than the 24-70 GM, very well built, focus ring very smooth. One thing I am not entirely happy about, as you can see in the picture, Adorama's shipping packaging leaves a lot to be desired. They just put a sheet of bubble wrap on the button of the box, that's it, nothing around the lens box itself. This is a $2200 lens! When I sell used lenses here, I pack it like it would be dropped from the 5th floor. Maybe Helena from Adorama would chime in. Sorry for the rant.
