Sorry, the "other manufacturers" have moved on considerably from a very low starting point. You can easily improve on the mediocre... And you don't use entry level models to compete with the top tier models either, that's company suicide and nobody benefits from that (only idiots would decree that a manufacturers demise is good)!
Really not sure what you are talking about, but the other manufacturers models at the same level are either better or cheaper right now
I'm trying to catch onto what the fuzz is about. Are there models from other manufacturers that are both better and cheaper? Canon also has better )or cheaper models at about the same level (5D IV, 6D).
