Let's see. Most discussions in the Canon forum are reasonably cordial and respectful (and about Canon topics), even when diverse viewpoints are expressed. In fact, generally speaking things have been fairly pleasant and friendly here for the past month or two, in contrast to this thread, which has managed to go off the rails in spectacular yet familiar ways.
I wonder what this thread has in common with the other nasty, angry, and full-of-"contempt" threads?
Another thought. It may be best to simply not respond to certain inflammatory post and posters. Consider it.
On a more pleasant topic, it is a lovely day in the Sierra foothills.
