First of all, thanks Fred and Guy for all the tests. I received my e-mount version today and did a quick check. I have the M-mount version as well, and my e-mount version performs better at extreme corners. The image below was taken at f11 (the aperture that I use most for the type of shots I do with ultra wide focal). The next image is an unscaled crop from the weakest corner of my copy (the bottom right corner). Vignetting correction has been applied.
