I tried the Sigma 150-600S, I didn\'t like it. While it\'s been some time since I\'ve used the 150-600S, I feel the images I get from the Nikon at f/5.6 are as sharp or nearly as sharp as the 200-500 wide open. The 200-500 is also lighter and I feel I can hike comfortably with the 200-500 and use it handheld whereas the 150-600S was pushing my limits as far as being comfortable while carrying it around considerable distance. Certainly the extra 100mm on the long end is a consideration, but not enough to overcome the other negatives I\'ve found with the 150-600S.
