I\'m very impressed with this lens after shooting for a couple of days. What is most surprising to me is how the VR snaps in to steady the scene. If I didn\'t know better I\'d say the viewfinder steadies so nicely you\'d think the camera was on a large tripod and sandbagged down! It is going to make hand holding a pleasure.
Only drawback is weight - at age 64 I won\'t be able to hand hold in the field for the lengthy periods I did as a younger pup.
