Partial solar eclipse today. Not having any suitable filter material I had to resort to building a pinhole camera for indirect observation of the sun:
This is what it looked like inside the pinhole camera. Note that the projected image from the pinhole was a bit more focused than that, but not having three hands I tried to hold the box at the right orientation, hold the A7 inside the box at the approximate distance that I prefocused for … didn\'t work out so well but you get the idea:
