When I found out that a CME had hit the Earth I was thrilled and pessimistic. Thrilled because of the magnitude of the impact but pessimistic because it was still 10 hours till night here in Finland. I was scared that the auroras would vanish before dark.
But I soon found out that my fears were needless and the aurora display was... Phenomenal.
Here is the first photo I managed to finish. A 14 pictures panorama. I´ll be posting more when I´m done
