Here we have 1DMkIIN ($575 per KEH) + 100 f/2.8 USM Macro ($500 per KEH)=$1,075.
Not totally cheap, but what a potent BIF combo that was, and still is, because that camera and lens are readily available from a variety of used gear sources.
