Re: What do you like/dislike about Nikon?

What do I dislike/like about Nikon...

Likes
- one of my \'life\' long friends is a Nikon shooter, his 18-200 zoom is absolutely killer, Canon\'s \'SUCKS\'
- being able to try Nikon gear is a huge bonus and continues to remind me why I shoot Canon
- it\'s cool Nikon saw the potential in Sony\'s EXMOR sensor tech and implemented it, that kind of decision is bold; not clinging to home-grown must have been difficult.
- DSLR pricing as of late seems more reasonable given economic times
- their flash system has always been top-notch and envied, until Canon caught up; I\'ll never part with my MT-24EX and 580EXII setup; tho the 600RT looks interesting

Dislikes
- their body ergonomics SLR/DSLR and menus for DSLRs absolutely \'SUCK\' and they have since 1978
- the shutter button positioning is silly and awkward
- there\'s no QCD and this is a monumental flaw/omission
- other than a few stellar lenses the bulk of their glass is quite uninteresting price/performance wise
- they\'ve \'never\' and continue to not have a wired remote switch that I can use, they are too fat and the actual button is in the wrong place...
- the left turn glass plays with my mind and that frustrates my crippled state

This is personal opinion/experience, nothing more, nothing less, both systems server their masters well
