Agree.. But I do wish it was a bit beefy, it doesn\'t inspire confidence that it will last long enough. The FE 55 seems to have higher built quality..
I remember my Sony 1.8/50 OSS which hat a metal shell but after less than a year of use it showed many signs of use while my manual Rokkors which hadn\'t been used any less were still in great condition. I would really like to see Roger idasassembling one and giving us an assessment of its longevity.
