Figure we need a thread to show our 300mm photos. Everytime I go into the 200mm F2 thread, I start lusting after it. What it has done though, is make me get out and shoot with my 300mm and using it in situations, I probably wouldn\'t have used it as heavily before like for portraits. It has now become one of the more versatile lenses in my collection just behind the 70-200mm.
I say we welcome all 300mm\'s F4\'s and F2.8\'s and the trio of teleconverters to go with them. I would like to limit it to Prime lenses at 300mm only except when you use a teleconverter if that makes sense. So no zoom\'s just to keep things somewhat segregated.
