On a touristic trip you are always forced to lots of compromises.
One of them is the gear and lenses. Thats of course where the ZE 24-70 shines. It is not a bad bad lens at all, and very useful in lots of situations. If the strong distortion did bother i used Lightroms 5.3 profile to correct (its the profile from Camera Raw RC, extracted and added to LR). But not all pics needed correction.
I printed the first batch of my pics at A2 with the E3800 on Hahnemühle Photorag Bright White, and the prints from the 24/70 look stunning.

Here is one taken with the fantastic Zeiss ZE 18/3.5 with very good to excellent corners. In this pic sharp corners are mandatory, but many other times they are pure fetishism.
