My favorite focal range lens are 50 and short teles (80 to 100). Most short teles\' minimum focusing range is around the 1 meter mark. I like the cron 90 because the MFD is only 0.7 m.
There are 3 versions of the 90 Summicron-R:
1) 90 f/2 Summicron-R Series VII; also known as version 1
2) 90 f/2 Summicron-R E55; also known as version 2 or 90 cron pre asph
3) 90mm f/2 APO-Summicron-R ASPH; latest version
