B&W with the A7 and CV15

How nice to see someone else daring to use that lens on the A7 :-)

Here are some more CV15 BW\'s. Have it on sale but cant make up my mind.

The subway shot is great!

I still don\'t have a really usable Adobe FF calibration image for the CV15 on the A7. I will have to try making some at various preset WB settings. And if that doesn\'t work, see if I get any better luck with cornerfix.

Currently, the color of overcast sky is pretty \"lumpy\", meaning purple here, green there, blue over there, etc.

Thanks! And right - It surely induces vignetting au\'naturel and together with magenta cast corners becomes pretty messed up and time consuming to fix. Especially if you like me usually add some slight vignetting in a layer or two. Easier go BW

For the rest I think colors are excellent coming from a full summer with it on a NEX 5N /75% of my images or so as I liked it so much, no issues at all. But the bad part is no doubt the smearing. Not always important depending on image edges. On the A7 I compare it to the NEX5N + Contax G21. The G21 (one of the sharpest lenses I\'ve tried) is in a big portion of the rest - but the smearing worse.

Making a 15mm lens a 20 with cropping aint so fun as it probably would echo making a G21 image in the range of 28mm, I will have a final go but I havent tried yet :-)
