I have done a small resolution comparison using available light at apertures from 1.4 to 11 for the Minolta MC Rokkor PG F1.4 mounted to the a7 with a Novoflex adapter. This is thought to be the best variant of this lens. I am pretty impressed by the results , particularly from F2.8 to F8. Clearly, this is a short range test and infinity results may be different but it is a good indication of its resolution. The images were taken in raw and adjusted in LR5.3 for exposure and sharpness.
