Mine is supposed to be delivered tomorrow - I understood that the A7r, due to the lack of the electronic 1st curtain, is relatively vulnerable to camera/lens combo movement on long exposures. Has any of you guys tried this out with your largish Canon lens(es) on sturdy support? Any result worthwhile mentioning? Thanks!
It is a 36MP camera, which is more susceptible to shake and Sony (deliberately or not) omitted this feature while the 24MP A7 has this feature. What\'s up with that?
There have been conflicting reports either way, one which even indicated MFT-type shutter shock when using image stabilization on a Canon lens (interaction between shutter closing and then reopening with IS). I\'m getting mine today and this is the first thing I\'ll be trying. Btw, if it is an issue it wouldn\'t affect long exposures but more the ones between 1/100 and maybe 1/8.
