I ordered a Leica M to NEX Fotodiox Pro adapter from Fotodiox webshop after having tried their Leica M-EOS M adapter which I found reasonably good.
I received an adapter which more or less fell of my lens, and after closer examination I discovered that the adapter lacked the leaf springs which were supposed to be in the middle of the adapter to hold the adapter in position on the lens.
I tried to contact Fotodiox about the issue, and only after the fourth try on email/ through their webshop contact page I received a response suggesting I returned the adapter for replacement or refund. Further mails from me have received no response.
I am surprised to see this lack of quality control of the products of Fotodiox and expected to have a replacement sent to me no questions asked. I do not want to pay and wait for an unneccesary return of the defect product.
As I no longer need my Leica M-EOS M adapter I have now transplanted the leaf springs from that adapter to my NEX adapter.
I will not buy any more adapters from Fotodiox.
