Let me ask you about your Metabones v3 adapter.
Once mounted on the A7R, my 2 Metabones v3 adapters have noticeable play on it.
Another issue with both of my 2 copies: The adapter tripod mount is not really parallel with the camera base.
How is yours?
When I went to the store to buy the metabones, there were 2 copies.[ I was trying on nex before the camera arrived] I tried the first and it was extraordniarly tight. I had to force it to go on. I then tried the 2nd and it was tight but not requireing forcing to get on. I bought the 2nd.
Anyway might point is there seems to be copy to copy variation in the manufacturing.
My current one is as tight (to body and to the adapted lens) as my eos-m mount (really good) and I am happy with it, now that I have the a7r.
I have not noticed the lack of parrell adapter base to tripod. I will check tonight.
