Because its a sling strap and uses a single point to connect to the camera (tripod mount). CarrySpeed was at PhotoPlus last year and I guess BR saw how much business and customers they were getting. CS was so swamped that I ended up helping them demo their product and answer questions. Couple months laters, thats when they took them to court.
CS CEO is still in the photography business but selling other camera related accessories. I\'ll be visiting their booth to see what new stuff they have and to help them review more products.
CustomSLR has a sling strap that connects to a single point but I don\'t think they do enough sales that would threaten BR.
Like Luma had mentioned when they were sued, sling strap is nothing new. It was used for firearms like rifles but yet, the US patent approved BR patent. I\'m not hating on BR nor their products, I just don\'t like their tactics and stepping all over the smaller companies.
