Just got my 5DIII back from Canon after having some lenses calibrated to the camera...turn it on and a few seconds after start-up the shots remaining section of the top LCD starts flashing \"FAII\".
I\'ve formatted the card(s) in the camera, have removed both cards (one at a time), have updated to firmware 1.2.1, have tried resetting custom settings and user settings to default, (not sure how to force a complete factory reset on this camera)...nothing fixes the situation. The camera seems to function fine, and after taking a shot and the shots remaining counter decreasing, the camera soon returns the flashing message.
Any thoughts? I would ideally liked to have used the camera for a fun shoot tomorrow, but I\'m not sure if I am risking damage to the camera by using it.
Would greatly appreciate your input.
