Looking forward to hearing how you like it, I\'ve heard a lot of great things about the image quality this lens can delivery. The specs just don\'t really fit for my uses, so I\'ve never bought or tried a copy.
Sorry to hear about your 18-55 experience, my copy appears to be problem free. I don\'t use it all the time, since I prefer to use primes generally, but in some situations it\'s handy.
