A large, powerful eagle that may take small prey to the size of small antelopes. This one hasn\'t grown into its adult plumage with dark feathers around the head. But still seeing a juvi was quite a thrill. The first was in a copse of trees and the second after it flew onto a more open perch. Each had its own exposure issues and these were taken before I had explored the virtues of manual exposure.
I will also post an adult for comparison.
