Thanks all - In regards to the AF Speed its more akin to the D3s in terms of acquisition, a bit quieter since the motor isn\'t as powerful but quick to snap into focus with an AF-S lens. When it comes to tracking it behaves more like the D7000, the first few 3 bursts were spot on and the last 1 or 2 were off a tad - My usual action tracking is AF-C AFON to focus - single point or 9pt dynamic
I really only shot like 7 or 8 bursts and nearly all of them had one out of focus slightly. There are so many variables here to take into account but its safe to say if with good technique it should be a great outdoor sports body...
