Hi All,
I posted this on DPR yesterday. It\'s perhaps more suited to FM...
As a previous owner of a NEX-5, I always thought the NEX line was great but was marred by the poor lenses so I sold it 8 or so months ago.
Anyway, the 5N caught my interest of late due to the improved image quality so I thought I would search in vain for a great wide angle lens as I pretty much only shoot landscapes. Well, I stumbled upon the Voigtlander 15mm F4.5 which looked pretty damn good in terms of IQ. The only issue was a filter adapter (vital for any landscape photographer) could not be fitted due to the inbuilt lens hood.
Well, to cut a long story short, below is my Voigtlander 15mm on my new 5N 2 hours after receiving it. I will buy a small screw in hood for the (very rare) times I will be shooting \'normally\' i.e. not in landscape mode on tripod with filter adapter attached.
The filter adapter ring screws in very nicely. I now have a very versatile, small, light landscape kit. Can\'t wait to test it in the field!
