NJ seems to have pretty much the same excemptions as PA http://www.state.nj.us/treasury/taxation/pdf/pubs/sales/anj2.pdf

I live in NY and buy make a point to buy everything from B&H or Adorama in NYC just to pay the tax on it right from the start.

Just got my form/notice too Miguel! I can't plead ignorance however. Biggest PA pet peeve... can't write off losses and have to pay both income tax and sales tax on gear

Hey Jim, check the link on my previous post... you might not have to pay for some gear (but talk to your accountant and if you have a good one please let me know )

This is the least cool thing ever. I purchased around 10k worth of things online last year that qualify for this. My year was split between a 2.9% jurisdiction and a 3.5%. Sure, it's only 300 bucks. But that's 300 freaking dollars I could be gambling in Vegas next week at WPPI!
