, yep the "drop zone" was huge around the flock! I did use a remote trigger and stayed away from the flying debris though.

I like it! I was wondering how you got so close to those gulls... the remote makes sense. You mean they wanted the coffee more than your camera, they must not be subscribed to this site.

Yeah, there must not be any photogs in that group of gulls or they surely would have tried to "take-off" with the cam,

Thanks Steve, I appreciate the nice words. I thought the same thing about the ground level. It could have worked for that assignment as well. Hopefully next week I can get off the ground for something different

I really like how you can see the red tongue of the bird as he takes a drink. Kind of reminds me of a retired police horse we once took in who was addicted to coffee!
