My neighbors are at it again. They actually "live" on this street.

Thank you Ryan. I was really having trouble finding something for this week and then I remembered this couple.

Thanks Klaus. It's fun to see this carefree couple setting the mood for the community. You can't help but have your spirits lifted when you see them.

Aah yes, thought I had seen it before. A great re-enactment of the famous pic by Alfred Eisenstaedt, V-J Day in Times square. See here http://www.life.com/image/72432384/in-gallery/45081#index/0
You've done a great job on this one Mark. My neighbours are much more conservative.
Thank you Bill, and thanks for the link. The picture does capture a special moment for our country.

Hi John,
Thanks, and I'm glad you like it. The street was very busy and I had to wait for a few minutes for everyone to clear off of the sidewalk. I definitely got a few looks as I was poised with a 400mm lens on the sidewalk.

Hi Yakim,
Yep, I know what you mean Yakim. Were you a loose "Canon" in your day?

Great shot Mark.
The subject is fantastic! It certainly raises a smile. Quite like the framing too.
Well done

Love it, especially the way the light posts, in and out of focus, frame the couple.

Thank you Andy. I smiled when I saw them too. It's a great scene to see on our street. I'm glad you like it.

Thanks a lot. I struggled with how loose to crop this so I'm glad you think the other elements add to the composition.
