I waited in line for a couple hours only to find out Best Buy only had the 64gb version of the 3G. So that's what I ended up with. I don't know what I'll do with all this space though.

16gb is more then enough for me. I bought a 32gb thinking I'd need the space, but I'm only using about 5GB now.
Helpful. Are you using it primarily to showcase photos or do you download movies and use for other purposes as well?
I've read in a couple of reviews that it's best to go for a black (color) iPad 2. The white versions seem to have a cooler (color) temperature and furthermore supposedly the white sides distract when showing portfolio/photo's.
Any thoughts on this? I was thinking about picking up a white one but this is making me think twice...
it allows you to transfer images from your cam to your ipad using the built in adhoc on the card. great for live shooting tutorials, quick client reviews and all around awesome coolness factor.
Jeremy, this thing is faster and sexier. And it's got camera for FaceTime and Skyping. But those are the biggest differences.
The iPad can view RAW. Just hook up the connection kit and you can see thumbnails almost instantly. It takes a while to upload them to the iPad but not too bad.
I can't answer that because I don't have the Apple TV, but I believe AirPlay is dependent on each individualmapp, so that's more of a question for the developer.

How much is the Camera Connection Kit?
Does it view RAW? or Flash (yet?) Does it take CF cards in the kit?
*edit* Also what does this do that is new over the original iPad?
No flash, and prob. not ever. Does not take CF cards, only SD or using a USB reader/hyperdrive etc.
Real power is in the processing. We are seeing 4x the performance in fft calculations and deconvolution in our software: Audio Tools. It just screams.
Having the 2x memory and bus speed, help with multiple-running programs, web surfing and overall snappiness of the device. I think it's worth the upgrade from the v1.
It was my understanding that apple and adobe finally made friends. I would imagine it would only take an upgrade, which apple does on a regular basis and ipads and iphones will be in the flash realm.

Friends or not, unless you want the ipad to have a 4 hour battery life, adobe will seriously have to optimize the current version of flash. Agreed on the software update, it's just up to apple whether they want to enable the feature or not.
