So there I am shooting a swim meet of my friend’s daughter when a very nice lady gets up out of the stands and asks me to take of few of her daughter. This is what she got.
I was lucky on the water being calm for the reflection. In the middle of the meet they break for a diving portion and that allowed to water to settle down. This race just happened to be the first after the diving.
She was quite pleased and sent me a nice thank you note. I've shot lots of baseball but this was my second swim meet and the first meet indoors. Lighting was terrible but I was allowed to shot with a flash, 580EXII, during the race. For this shot all I had to do was crop and white balance.
