as an aside, I just bought a bushhawk (just the nonelectronic handle) and some other bits for my 300/2.8, but am lurking and considering a 200/2 to add to the kit (or, rather, replace a lot of other stuff).
Sadly I have decided to sell mine, but I find the lower weight and more compact size of the Leica 180/2 offsets the AF and VR for me. If anyone in Europe is interested, drop me a note. I would list it in the B&S but there is roughly zero EU activity there, so it makes no sense.
One shot. With the D3/D3s...it's just amazing. I rarely use more than 4/5 fps shootin' BIF as this combo
gives you exactly what you want when you press the shutter. Thanks!
To elaborate on the roughstock shootin'...
I get one of 'em coming out of the chute, try for one with a nice move and face showin', and then the inevitable toss-off grab. Otherwise you'd be lookin' to go thru
600-700 shots an hour. Used to do that, but found only certain shots consistently sell.
One of my favorite breeds doing what it does best!
Here's one my neighbor took of me and Levi, my Weimaraner, for my book The Cracker Barrel which is now being negotiated to be printed in Japanese, she used my D3x and 24-70 for the shot.
