That must have been the adrenaline rush of a lifetime!! I loved reading your story, it really allowed me to visualize what you were going through when you took the shots (I hate that when something really awesome catches you by surprise and you know you don't have the right lens on!! ahh!!)
Enjoyed the shots. #6 is my favorite.

Ashley, it was amazing. I hope that the narrative gave you some insight into my crazy brain...but the one thing I have learned from all my wildlife trips is not to be surprised so I made sure I was covered and realized it is easier to crop an image then add a leg or ear when it was cut off because of too much lens.

Eric, this is a fascinating series in every way... your narrative was compelling and really helped me share just a little bit in your experience.
5 and 9 are the extra-special images in this very special gallery... what an absolute rush for you and very enjoyable for me.
Excellent work... thanks man.

Thanks so much Kirk...I am so glad I could impart a little of the experience...if you want a little more relook at the post while in a freezer...it was about 35F at the time!
