What an exciting, stupendous moment for you and so well captured, thanks much for sharing!! I have gone through a similar moment with a Bear or two and there is nothing like it, Scary, uplifting, liberating and nervewracking all at once and you came through like a champ, Well done!!

Yes, I can only imagine when something of that imposing size ambles down the road...so I am thrilled to have gotten a few keepers.

Man this forum has talent and very very brave talent I guess the majestic beauty of this creature would have me locked in place to enjoy for better or for worse Eric, man your commentary had me up on the edge of my seat buddy......incredible experience and well shared by words and images!
I appreciated all the shots but it is #5 that is most captivating for me, the little highlight in the eye and the dedicated look you got is remarkable. The image is interesting in that at 1/200th there was a tiny bit of motion blur in the paw and perhaps the legs or body but the head and eyes couldn't look better and more powerful, sweet one buddy, wow!
OK, catching my breath and going back for another look..............................thanks
Wow, what can I say back to you. You really have a knack for inflating my ego way beyond where it ought to be. But thank you. I was lucky for sure as I hear of people going 8-10 times and never catching a glimpse of a tiger...the pix are just icing on a very tasty cake!

Thanks Danno! Appreciate the picks. It was thrilling to say the least...but like fishing, hours and hours of waiting for 5 minutes of action.

Paul
Thanks Paul...sometimes I do pinch myself in these moments just to be sure...thanks for the picks.

That must have been the adrenaline rush of a lifetime!! I loved reading your story, it really allowed me to visualize what you were going through when you took the shots (I hate that when something really awesome catches you by surprise and you know you don't have the right lens on!! ahh!!)
Enjoyed the shots. #6 is my favorite.

Fantastic set Eric. No "buck fever" for you. Congrats on finding him too. My only suggestion would be to get out of the vehicle so you could get a lower angle... ~ Ron
Hey Ron, believe me, if they would have let me I would have gotten out and down for what would have been some outrageous shots but my wife says I don't have enough insurance
