I was taking some photos of holly berries when this landed on a leaf next to the berries. There isn't a lot of PP, decreased the exposure, added some contrast and sharped it a bit, then converted to black and white. The second image is a crop of the first image. Sorry about the small size.

The flash batteries went dead. I put in new batteries and took this next photo about two minutes after the first one. Notice how the snowflake has already lost its fresh white look in this short amount of time.

I'm assuming it is a snowflake?
In which case I am in total awe at the flake, your good fortune, and your reflexes and skill to get the capture.
I need a bigger thesaurus to find the right words for this.

I agree, I think it does add more context.
I added another photo to show how fast it lost the fresh white fuzzy look.
