The close-ups were taken with CV 125 or Leica-R 60 Macro,
wider with Contax 1.4/35 Kind of wish EXIF could be programmed...
Pretty amazing snow storm in early October covering the foliage.
Will try again today, but it was melting very fast yesterday.
Stopped the color progress and destroyed some leaves.
A few warm days will help to recover.
Hi Paul, thanks for sharing. I just picked up this ZM 18mm lens yesterday. Want to use it on NEX 5N. I also like the "28mm" focal length. So far only took a few shoots with it. However I am not too impress with the sharpness. Need to shut down to f8 to get some decent sharpness. I have only taken a few test shoots so still too early to judge. So far I like those photo you taken with this lens. So want to hear more from you.
This is my first post here. But have been following with the various threads here. Really enjoy the photos shared. I am excited with 5N as it allows me to use my C/Y lenses (28mm, 35mm, 50mm, 85mm). I hope that this zm18 will provide me the wide.
Thanks again for the sharing.

I'm not a pro, so I'm not fit to make any judgment on the lens.
Having said that, I'm really enjoying the lens on my Nex-5N...
I personally like 28mm focal length... And this lens gives me good colors and sharpness...
I think Sony hit a homerun with Nex-5N ....
Andrew, these are very very nice. The golden autumn colors are very nice, we dont get that around here
The CV 125? now I hate you. I just acquired the 100 MP and I thought that was the end of it
Kudos for your hand holding capabilities of the NEX + 125 combo. I hardly can hanhold a 100 mm lens on the NEX! it seems that the ZM 50 Palanr will be my longest lens that I'm comfortable to hand hold.

Thanks, you can never call it "the end of it"
Yes, we have fall colors, but you have Borobudur and Amanjiwo I've always wanted to visit,
but the long travel scares me... Do they still have those elephant trips to visit the monument?
Try to use your neck strap as a support and shoot from the lower level looking down at the LCD.
I have no problems with those lenses, but for more precision I would use a monopod.

These shots look great, were you using any kind of extension tubes or anything?
Thanks and nope, just a Minolta MD -> NEX adapter. Lens goes to 1:4 by itself, which isn't anything massive, but lets me get decently close on most things.
(realize that 2nd shot is a heavy crop of that first shot).
The bee shot is cropped somewhat but nothing major.

Thanks Charles, so glad you joined the group
Can't wait for more 75 lux images, how do you fell NEX-5N compares
to Leica shooting?
I don't think you should compare the two styles of shooting, the likes of comparing apples and oranges. One a FF RF so unique in its own way, brilliant IQ, amazing set of lenses to compliment (at a cost of course), and the 5N brilliant in a APS sized sensor format, great IQ and really best its class. I don't either camera is the limiting factor, and really the ability of the photog to see creatively.
Great shots everyone!
Michael, excellent set of shots. I love the ones with OM18. What PP'ing do you use?
