I went back to Lightroom and reset all of the changes I'd made to one of the images used for the blend in the 2nd 12mm shot. No corner colour cast that I can see.

Mike
Thank you for the 12mm images! It's a lens I'm interested in and it's good to see it holds up into the corners, at least good enough as far as I can see from the web sized images here.
The working distance at 55mm seems to be approx 6-7 inches or so, I'm not sure if I got that close on this particular shot, as the bee was moving around fairly quickly.
Zoran....to answer your question on the last page, the color shift is gone from with the 5N & ZM 25 f/2.8 combo. I can't post now, but I have pics taken with that combo
Huh, 79 pages and plenty of inspiring images! I just got an interest in a 5N as a tiny but capable friend to my 5DMkII. I'd like to get it with a fast normalish (around 24-32) lens with great image quality. I expect to use MF and an adapter of some sort.
Is there such thing with a good combination of:
1) size (ie not very big)
2) price (~less than the camera cost)
3) shallow DOF with a lovely bokeh (guessing I need ~F/2.8 or faster)
4) not totally unusual (i.e. lenses with a reasonable chance to turn up on ebay etc)
Suggestions much appreciated.
(...and by all means, feel free to message me if you got tired of such lens, for the first time I am thinking of buying the lens before the camera )
