I love my little a6000 on my telescope!!!!! I used a special solar filter on the scope for safety, but the a6000 does a great job of imaging!!!! The granulations on the surface of the sun is not noise.. but rather granulations actually present on the sun's surface

Hi from Cape Town - this looks like a Leucadendron (family Proteaceae) which are very prevalent in the Western Cape region of South Africa and form part of the 'fynbos' we see here on our mountains
Hi Irene!
Oh thank you so much!! I could not remember what she told me it was but that was it! They must be beautiful to see where you are!! They caught my eye right away here!
Cathy

Direct, concise handover report.Just for you, my APS-C fellows:
Sony G 16-55/2.8 is a great, very sharp zoom lens throughout the range.Well built, with bright, vivid colours.I know that my RAW results with Sony A6500 are digitally manipulated, but I do no care.Without a dedicated lens profile it is still very impressive for it's class.
US and Canada residents can have it much cheaper, but after my preliminary tests do not regret the price I had to pay in the EU,(i.e. equivalent of 1122 USD).
Good quality things do give the joy that no money can get.
I will get out for some real shooting once I'm phisically fit enough.
I am thinking about this lens myself and look forward to seeing your images.
Be well soon!! Take care
Cathy
