This is a very mountainous country. Awesome scenery. How about Volgograd? Maybe a photo of the Alexander Nevsky bridge (if such exists)?
Actually, there's no such a bridge in Volgograd. We've got only the Alexander Nevsky monument. The Alexander Nevsky bridge (the most ancient and famous one in Russia) is situated in Saint-Petersburg.
And here's Volgograd...
Sergey, that first photo of the damaged building: is that a monument to the great battle (of Stalingrad), similar to the memorial in Hiroshima, Japan, which was the site of the atomic bomb drop?
Yes, you' re right.
It's the ruined mill, which was decided to stay untoucht as the symbol of the Stalingrad battle, actually as the memory of this battle. The whole city was in the same condition as this building, even there were some suggestions not to reconstruct Stalingrad and leave it dead and ruined as the city-monument. But the citizens decided to reconstruct the city and started to do it by themselves (mostly they were women, kids and old men, cause it was 1943 and nearly all the men were on the war) and with the help of the captive nazies.
Very nice! Not only the original NEX, but the most maligned lens of the system. Say what you like, but no one else has a 24mm equivalent that's so small and cheap (~$100 USD used).
Seems to track pretty good. I use it in AF-C and use flexible spot focus set on the center of the frame with back button focus. I pre-ordered the A6500 earlier this week.
