I just bought an a6000 from a member on here, and this thread has inspired me but also confused me as to which lens(es) to buy first! Such great work from you guys, I can't wait to start contributing.
Hard to go wrong with the Sigma trinity, 19, 30 and 60 f2.8 lenses. Rokinon 12mm f2 or the Sony 10--18 are nice too. Wait then there's the Sony 50mm, oh and the new Sigma 30mm f1.4. So many great choices... I started with the Zeiss 12mm f2.8 and have never been disappointed.
Membler - exactly! I have been looking at the Sigma 19mm specifically. I do a lot of real estate photography, so something relatively wide would be preferred. And a good telephoto would also be great. Those two plus the kit lens should be sufficient for a while.. until I decide to splurge haha

You might be happier with the Rokinon 12mm f2 for real estate. It's manual focus but that's easy on the A6000.
There is a 99% chance I will buy used. I usually do. Its really beneficial for me because I can always re-sell and break even if I dont like something. When I buy new, the item loses value immediately after it changes hands. I will look into those suggestions, thanks guys!

Lots of people there taking shots and walking in the way, so I took some detail shots of the oily bits :-)

Doing some research, seems like Samyang is a rebranded Rokinon? Or vice versa? Is there any difference between the lenses, if I bought one or the other? I'm asking specifically about the 12mm/f2. Thanks!
