Some for-fun concerts shots from last night using the 50mm f1.8. The band is called Rise & Shine and they're from Dallas. They only have 2 members (guitar & drums) and we discovered their sound wasn't lacking in the least. Great rock/blues/country delivered with good energy and talent.
The lighting was cheap & minimal and I've edited for character so there's no pro quality here. I like them, though, and feel they kinda match the music that was being played.
Disco Dave, great work! I really enjoy shooting smaller performances, just can't stay up that late any more! A couple of images from our cabin this past week.
I'm a huge True Detective fan and that birds mask image is creeping me out!

A few from yesterday. I was wandering around the Bishop Arts district in the Oak Cliff area of Dallas. Shot with either the 16-50mm or the 50mm f1.8.

I had the a6000 with a 28-70 on me for any wide angle shots that may come up at the baseball game the other night. I was in the photo well behind home plate and decided to see what a shot from the set up would look like. I think the different prospective came out ok.

I don't really watch TV and had no idea this was related to that show. I do occasionally read steampunk novels and such things are pretty common in them.
