I shot this Australian coin, with a U.S. quarter underneath, with the 16-50 at 50mm using the Meike macro extension tube set. 1/60s f16 at iso 800. It will focus closer, close enough to block your light. Decent macro ability for $30? I'm in!

I hadn't heard of that adapter - results look great.

I'm not the best at explaining things, especially when I barely understand them myself. I've linked an adequate user review that should help. I did use both rings combined for a 26mm extension and used 50mm to give enough focusing distance to make my light source usable. Going wider decreases the focusing distance, thus giving greater macro capability, but it can hamper your ability to illuminate properly. For $30 I think they work very well.
First time here, I recently migrated from Nikon to Sony in an attempt to down size my gear and simplify my Photo Life
So far so good, a mixed bag of experiences, coming from a Nikon d600, full frame again back to crop with a much smaller camera, some good stuff , some that I have to get used to.
In global my experience balance on the positive side, being using this A6000 mirrorless and all, definitively I carry my camera more often and my approach to angles and different pint if views is more original thanks to the small frame of the camera
A couple of shots

Hey boris, great to see your work. I've been a huge fan of the 'nex' style cameras for a few years now. It was hard at first letting go,of the DSLR, but the fun and joy of shooting with these cameras is incredible. Keep us posted.
A few images from this morning. I, being a professional firefighter, followed some smoke that I saw this morning on the horizon. Usually this is just a large brush pile, getting burned by a farmer clearing some land. This one seemed in a populated area, so I investigated a little further. Upon my surprise, it was a vacant house on fire, fully involved. It was interesting being the one calling 911, instead of always responding to that call. I couldn't believe no one else had called it in yet, it definitely had a good head start on the structure. All with the Sigma 30mm 2.8.
I was out shooting yesterday and stopped at our local velodrome to see if I could get in and take some pictures. All I had with me was my A7 with my Rokinon 14/2.8 and the A6000 with the Zeiss 2.8/12. Here are two shots with the 6000. The second one is a heavy crop.
