Fairly long lens but a tiny camera and I am quite impressed with the result. Taken yesterday at the new Tiger Trail at San Diego Wildlife Animal Park, behind the protective glass, mind you. We looked for possible location that would allow shooting straight and not through any glass to no avail. Either through the chain link fence or through the glass. The distance between the shooting location and the chain link fence is too great for it to be blurred out. So, behind the glass it is and since it is new, the glass is still thankfully clear.
The lens used is Canon 300mm f/2.8L IS Mark II, BTW. I took a few shots using my A7r but I haven't had the chance to process the files yet.

Just curious...why are the A6000 images separate from the other APS-C Emount images? Shouldn't we combine the NEx and A6000 threads? Seems odd to have a thread for one model.
I like the A6000 having its own thread - this way, I can look at images and discussion related to just this new camera, instead of having to wade through a bunch of other images/discussion related to cameras I'm not interested in.
Really good companion for my A7. A 14mm Roki becomes a 21mm and my 55mm FE becomes a 83mm lens.
I got the silver version and so far quite enjoy it. I need to figure out how to set the magnification mode to stay on and not disappear, that part sucks!

I'm working off the A7, but isn't there an option to set the "Magnification time" to "unlimited" on MF?

Did the lower res EVF bothered anyone? Especially those with A99 and A7/R?
I am using both the A6000 and A7r interchangeably. Not only it doesn't bother me, I barely notice the difference. I could use the EVF of the A6000 to focus with and without focus peaking. I really enjoy that camera; I love the small format, the light weight and great AF performance. Maybe I am too biased and you may want to wait for others to chime in.

I haven't used the a99 or a7r but coming from a DSLR the a6000 viewfinder has almost 0 lag for me and I find it very color accurate. I use exclusively manual focus lenses on it and I had no issues. I don't think you will find it to be one either.

Downside then being when you want to see examples of how certain E mount lenses perform your going to have to probably start looking in several threads to see them.
Not like there is much difference in that regard from the NEX6, 7, A6000 etc though. A6000 has advantages of course, but its still Sony APS-C.
Can't really understand why anyone would only appreciate images taken with the A6000 but have zero interest in other similar cameras.
At web resolution I highly doubt anyone could tell them apart
