"Another image taken with the Lensbaby Edge 80. As some of the pictures I've shared have had pretty strong effect of tilting the lens, I also want to share examples of more subtle look. And the truth is that I'm still very much exploring and trying out the tilt with various subjects. [...]"

I thought I post this work here. It is actually a mix from two cameras but the NEX image is the biggest.

"For a while now I have been finding my inspiration in music and painting, particularly of the New Zealand painter Colin McCahon. He did a body of work called the Waterfall series, which could be described as white slashes in a black landscape. He got up well before dawn in the deep dark, dressed and walked into the landscape with no light to guide him except the stars. Then he waited for that moment before light barely registers as a greyer shade of black, and seeing what it felt like, he returned to his studio and painted. The spirit of this photograph owes much to him. [...]"

"Another example of Edge 80 optic. Now that I’ve started (and learned) to use Lensbaby lenses I feel I’ve come to the point that with them I need to develop different angle my photography. In a sense one might say that being extraordinary lenses with distinctive look they force me to think differently. I admit that it’s a bit painful discover that I need to change my style, but I hope it will keep eyes fresh. [...]"
