@Alan, those look suprisingly good for the stacks of glass. Nice shootin'.
Adding a pic of some lenses lined up for size comparison -
10-18, 18-55, ZE24 in camo, 28-70, and 50/1.8.
I actually really like the 28-70 on the 5N. It's a tad bulky, but it is a light lens and well balanced. It fits nicely in my hand. I am leaning toward not keeping my A7 kit, so I will probably send it back, and then try to find a used copy of the lens. Note: my A7 kit was an open box, so not much guilt about trying it and then sending it back to a vendor that I do buy a ton of gear from.

Better photogs overall?
Haha! Maybe A7/r owners are still getting to grips with their new toy? But I've seen some beautiful shots from them from Phillip Reeve and others. Might have been nice to simply extend this thread to include the A7/r like they did on DPReview.
Anyhow, back to the NEX - F3 + Canon FDn 50/1.4 + Lens Turbo; the recession-proof FF option. ;-)

Great pictures! As common as they are, you gotta love these gulls!
Two pictures of mine also featuring (black-headed) gulls in an urban environment (Amsterdam). Taken with a Nex5N and Rokkor MD 135mm 2.8 (4/4 version).
