I'm looking for a compact relatively/moderately fast 135mm manual focus lens (f/2.8-3.5-ish).
So far I'm considering the Carl Zeiss Jena 135/3.5, and the Canon FL 3.5/135...
Any other "usual suspects" that are compact, sharp and contrasty preferably?
Consider the Canon FDn 100/2.8? Prone to purple fringing, but otherwise great sharpness & contrast, decent bokeh, light (270g), compact (53.4mm) so unobtrusive for candid/street.

It looks great, but I already have the contax-g zeiss 90/2.8, so I'm looking for something a bit longer (135mm). If I could find a similarly small 150mm, that would also be of interest.

I have three 135mm lenses, but only the Jena 135/3.5 has a minimum focus distance of 1 meter. The others are aprox. 1.3. This is a big deal with hand-held closeup work. It is sharp. I also like it because it takes a 49mm filter.

Thanks for the tip nevertheless!
Check out the Oly Pen 150/4. You probably won't get much more compact than that in a like focal length. The lens is sharp wide open, but the Pens aren't the contrastiest lenses available, and the color pallet tends to be fairly simple. It's not too hard to find for a decent price, either.

Thank you!
