I've been far too busy for this place lately, unfortunately - amazing shots over the past few pages - those FD 300mm sunsets, Sebboh's cats, sculptormic's fantastic architectural shot, many others...
Alan, I love your first and especially third shots. I just wonder if cropping a bit off the top of the third one might not be a good idea, as I do not see it contributing all that much to the image.
Thanks Taylor, Philber - I'll try cropping the egg shell, although I think it probably looks a bit more delicate/abandoned/forlorn as it is, in a larger frame!

Alan, I was suggesting maybe 2cm off the top, not anything dramatic. Nothing like a tight crop.
Thanks for the comments on the sunsets. I was surprised at how well the 300L handles flare, as its front element is HUGE. Didn't see a hint of flare, even shooting straight in to the sun.

Lovely work, sebboh, especially the first one IMHO!
Great work everyone! Those ants are creepy! This is from a family session a few days ago. Going for a "Mark Tucker" look. If you haven't seen his work, cool stuff. Not Nex, but he can definitely shoot an amazing portrait. This was with the Nex 7 and Sony 35mm 1.8. I did use a Totally Rad action to get the 'scratched' look.
