Thanks Philber and Phillip. Yes, it feels like constant darkness here now, especially when the weather is bad. We got a break this weekend though with some nice sunshine. Here's a couple more of my daughter. Contax Hollywood again. Gotta say, this lens is quickly becoming my fav.

A few more images of an old DC-3 parked in an airfield down the road
Nex 7 this time .. left a little dark and gritty which seemed to suit with the sky (had to shelter under the wing for a while when a heavy shower passed)

This was a weird test with the Pentax A50mm 1.7 lens notmuch-3a by GabrielG2k11, on Flickr
And the next few are just testing the SEL55210 with a Sony VCLDH1758 TC. It was done on a monopod so pardon that they are not the sharpest ever.
I will try to improve as the qualify of images in this thread is STUNNING!
All the following shots are cropped.
Brian, great set of your daughter! She looks like the star in a faity tale! Great stuff!
Mike, fine set of the DC3. The first and third are my favorites. They would grace many a wall IMHO...
Phillip Reeve, as ever...
Emacs, I really dig your groupe picture. Are they Russian military?
Jim, as ever...
Gabriel, congratulations on your new cam!
On my side, I find that I really like night shots. For some reason, not many show up on this thread. Summilux 50 on NEX 7
Eye-popping and beautiful images on the past couple of pages - Sebboh's underpass, Philip's trees, MRosth & prud, Briantho's amazing portraits's (does the Contax Hollywood require the typical Contax G adapter to focus?), mcbroomf's HDR-look plane... humbling.

Thanks for the comments. I uploaded a couple of original size shot from the series. The background blur shows some CA with the Distagon, but that's to be expected I guess. It's not too obvious when viewing at normal sizes. Sharpness on the NEX-7 is amazing.
Brian -- Those shots of your daughter are some of most beautiful and striking portraits I've seen in some time. I love the colors -- the golden locks, purple parka, and blue eyes -- stunning against the cool snow.
I'm sorry to have missed where you probably explained your lens and settings. Could you please explain the "Hollywood"? Is this a 35mm film cine lens? What is its focal length/aperture?
Congratulations on some great shots. I'm sure your daughter could be a very successful commercial model or actress if she wanted to pursue that.
Thanks for the nice comments, I really appreciate it.
Gunzorro, the "Hollywood" is the nickname of the old Contax Distagon 28mm f2. I belive it was adapted from a cine lens, but it's an ordinary SLR-lens. I think the modern ZE/ZF 28/2 is the same design.
No special settings used, but I did add local saturation in post to make the images more vivid.
As for my daughters career, she's just 11 so we'll see. I'll pass your kind words to her though, I'm sure she'll be happy to hear them.
